I am so tempted to do some trimming.

Not great I am afraid. It is very hot today so I am making her drink every hour. If I dunk her beak in a cup of water she will then drink on her own. But that is about as far as it gets.

Any chance of bringing her into the house where it's cooler?

No interest in egg. I am not keen on separating her from her friends even though they are a bit mean to her.

Eve visits with Phyllis before we take her home. She has some questions for Phyllis.

WOW, Phyllis was SO GOOD with Eve petting her. I think one of my broodies would have drawn blood with that much 'attention!' Eve was being very gentle, though, for a child her age...but still, Phyllis was quite patient with her, given she is broody!!
