Good to know thanks! You shouldn't prune it this time of year - it will encourage a lot of sucker growth (not good). Wait until the winter.....

Holy Dinah that's just rude and bad for animals. I would make them come back and clean up their mess...That was truly inconsiderate. They need to pick up their mess not move it somewhere else. Yikes!
Don’t worry. I am a big believer in them figuring it out.Oh noooooooo......I will read on, but can't they just do what comes naturally and use the box or not? Chickens will explore, they can't help it, eventually they will. Right now, Maggie's out there during the day.....Dotty attacks in the night.....who knows what other dangers lurk? A cautious chicken is a living chicken!![]()
So cute....These computer photos are cracking me up.![]()

For you and Minnie:An update on Minnie.
Thank you @MaryJanet and @bgmathteach for asking about Minnie.
She is still with us and the last two nights has roosted on the big roost which is a small good sign.
She comes outside and has a nibble of leaf and a sip of wild water and then sits in the shade watching events. Then she goes into a nest box and collapses for the afternoon.
I have had no luck tempting her to eat eggs, fish, shrimp, beef or cabbage. She will eat a couple of meal worms and she ate a half a slice of kiwi fruit.
The vet suggestion of blood work and the negative fecal sample all happened late Friday and over the weekend so I haven’t made any more progress on that. I will try and get another appointment for her.
It is all very strange.
