What's happening with Minnie? :hugs
No new news since last night. She continues distended - I think a bit less but that may be wishful thinking. She continues to smell like a brewery and when I massage I can hear the bubbles. She has good color and has some energy.
I am going to let her out of confinement for a few hours this afternoon - I think it is important for her mental health but I am quite worried she will pig out and will make her problem worse. The miconazole treatment isn't too hard to give but it has to go on for a full week twice a day so that will get old for both of us pretty fast!

Théo, the handsome lad, is unfortunately convinced that his good looks means a hen is always saying yes when she says no 🙄.

Is he young (like 1 ish?) They do tend to calm down and be more respectful in future spring seasons. Give him time to mature....really, they are not unlike teenage boys...all gropey and such, lol. But then the hormonal teenagers grow into fine young men for the most part. :)

well shes going to die . Hunting is big around here and people run bear, deer, and others
and people have pet dogs that would love pheasant (at least her wings Arnt clipped)

I read that olive oil can sometimes help also lemon. Apparently it helps too disperse the build up. Antibiotic can make the crop worse :(

I am ashamed to say I could not even find the alternator on a Lexus. I was actually reasonably competent with car maintenance in my 20s - I drove ancient cars so I had to be - somewhere along the way everything changed and I can stare at the engine of a modern car and not even recognize it as an engine!
I have heard quite a few people lately ranting on how much harder and harder it is to fix your own cars, particularly with hybrid vehicles. Many years ago when I learned about the Amish community in the US I would not believe it, but in the recent 5 years I have generated massive respect for them and it made so much sense to me that they want to stick with their buggy.

The older I grew, the more I admire old-fashioned hand tools and food preparation methods, which are often better for your health and the environment. (for example, why do we need toxic non-stick pans when cast iron pans are so awesome?)

Whether there is an agenda behind it or not, people have become less self-sustainable. This is why I wanted to have chickens (see this post is chicken related😋 I will however post a chicken picture nonetheless), but my gosh I did not realize they are the sweetest creatures too.

Those buildings are amazing. I'm sure they are also a lot of work, too, to maintain!

The roo in the last link is quite handsome! He looks small (?maybe framing of pic?) Is he a Wlesummer? Again, he seems small for that, but what gorgeous colouring!

Emily comes everytime i call her name, sprinting over.

However thats just because i trained her that “Emily” means theres food for her. So its a bribe, basically. Then the others come running sometimes to because they associate that with food!
Viejo hangs around outside my kitchen door waiting for me to come out then he'll walk over to the container of wild bird seed. He has me trained quite well. 😁
