Yeah, tell that to the ones living in my kitchen, and the Great Canadian Cobra Death Chickens with brood that are trying to take over my coop and one of the babies bit me evicting them Saturday morning!
Ya Canadian geese can be very dangerous! I watched them chase a kid on a bike many years ago hahaha

Ok everyone have a great day, I need to get my butt in gear, do chores get to work....

I WAS going to do different mugs, but the deer moved off before it was light enough to get fawn mugs. So instead, some from last night's sunbathing. It rained most of yesterday afternoon :ya AAnAnd the clouds broke up (temporarily :celebrate)just in time for the gloaming (the warm golden tones just before sunset). The younger crew took advantage.

Hector...Asphodel half off screen doing the chicken version of 100 brush strokes before bed. This lot is also going through the voice change.....lots of honking squeaks.

The "clones" are getting big enough Jessica is getting challenged covering them. She's also been a bit less vigilant about chasing encroaching babes away and the pair are getting a little bit of interaction with the 5 (Whiskey the most). watching them flit up to roost is a picture of grace and beauty. Their short flights have the same economy of motion as wild song birds flitting about the trees. Naming this pair is a challenge (no cockerel signs on either) and even if we settle on names, they're likely going to be interchangeable until after the 12 week moult/until combs show differences. Any suggestions?

Way Behind

Everyone, I am way back on bass p page 9530. I have been traveling and will be at off site meetings for work all week. I likely will not catch up until next week.

To everyone whose chick is not feeling well I am terribly sorry and wish I could be there to offer support. Know that I am praying for you all.

I will try and pop photos in for Monday, Tuesday, etc. Please be kind to each other as I know you will.

How about Dove and Dolly 😊

Monday Mugs

I found this photo of Lilly the other day. It made me smile. Not only is he face dirty there is a feather in the corner of her month. She had likely just been torturing little Aurora from looks of the feather. It made me smile.

...and so innocent looking to boot 😊

How about Dove and Dolly 😊
Dove is one we've been mulling. Not fond of Dolly for anything including toys: not even when I was a child and no clue why.

Name ideas: colors (they're showing blue: very dark) in blue or grey, ocean/water, geologic, meanings of grace/beauty.

Also trying to filter with similarity to names of the others (if they sound too similar, calling specific bird gets challenging)

Dove
Schist
Gneiss
Lian
Noor
Umi
Slate
Shadow
Shade
Astrid
Indigo
