Xzit’s inside with me. We are having a great time, just talking and grooming each other. She’s staring at the screen as I post this with my iPhone!

Just popping in for a quick visit. I promise to continue the blast from the past but will probably have to wait until Sunday. I was told 2 and a half weeks ago now that there would be a horse show down at the barn tomorrow, but, I did not tell Rosie. It was still up in the air and I did not want to get her excited in case it fell through. Well, it is for sure going on and the ring opened up for practicing Tuesday. Rosie and Russ have lived down there since. It is chicken and horse and house chores in the morning and afternoons and by 6 she is on the horse. I'm dragging her off of him between midnight to 2 am. She's fine tuned his gaits up and is having a blast. Tomorrow at noon she's giving him his bath. We could have done it one night this week or tonight even but nope. She said it was pointless as the first thing he would do is roll, in poop so he is not getting it until the day of the show. I was also told and am really hoping it goes through that the farm is sold. The person buying it is the one that leased it out this month to have the show. She knew the sale would not go through in time to have a show put on without leasing. I really hope she gets it. She is the one that took over the barn 3 years ago and leased it for a year and redid the barn. She is a really good friend and the person we bought Dirt from. Cross your fingers everyone that the sale does get finalized.

Haha I bet!!

Still it’s a room and should be filled!
It was with breaker panels, routers, and other assorted stuff that you apparently aren’t allowed to stack stuff up around making it completely inaccessible… oooh how about the time
One of the main plumbing lines broke and flooded the place? And no one knew where the water shut off was? 😂 then there was the time the health inspector showed up because of the rodents and the customer bathrooms were flooding the bakery and coffee bar area with sewage… yep, many fun times… somewhere two phones ago I still have the pictures I took of the emergency fire exit blocked off with demo carts labelled “emergency exit must not be blocked” I wonder if the fire chief found that as funny as I did? Oh the number of times that store was nearly shut down… 🤣

Everytime you tell these stories I think of that TV show Superstore. I'm certain you have never seen it but it sounds like where you used to work. 😆

Ya- I hear ya. Now when I see horses running I close my eyes. My horses are not allowed to run. Too risky might hurt themselves… or me!
I hear you both, for me it’s Goats Gone Wild… no there won’t ever be a video, it’s way too stressful and my hands are full of Goat, not phone. Eventually something will go horribly wrong, as much like the chicken tractors are not meant to withstand cows… 150lb goats jumping up on them is also not good. Not good at all. All three went on a little tear about this morning which culminated in Jimmy doing his “not going into your trailer” standoff which I had to remedy with the squirt bottle. It was a solid half hour of chaos. I need a barn and fencing definitely need good solid fencing.
