Oh, @RoyalChick , Lulu isn't a little girl anymore....LOOK AT THAT FULL BOTTOM

It is full/fluffy enough to give Maggie and/or Diana a run for their money!

It seems like the last day or so she has really started to fluff out.
I wonder how this will change the dynamics. It was very simple, Bernadette is the boss, then Bella and little Lulu is just everyone’s favorite crazy.
But Lulu will likely lay first. And Bernadette is way behind. And Bella can now barely walk so she just hunkers down in a nest box.
I wonder if Lulu will lead the Hooligans. In which case pray for us all as she is a complete nutter. She would fit well with @Ribh’s tribe! She is also very small.

Further update on Xzit: I took her and the box outside. she jumped out of the box, and ran out into the yard (somewhere) Then I took the egg and hid her box. I haven’t seen Xzit since! I’m hoping that she shows herself again soon. She got chased off by the others.

Yes, she will have to 'reintegrate' after being broody so long. Unfortunate side effect of wanting to raise chicks...and having a nest box away from the others.

Why they do this to us is just unknown. The number of people who have looked at my chickens and said “OMG! Is that chicken ok?!? What’s wrong with it?” I mean really, some of the weird positions the put themselves in View attachment 3187078View attachment 3187081
Not action shots, not dust bathing… just lying around in the most awkward positions being weirdos!

OMG, I almost peed my pants at these pictures! Thank you, @Kris5902 Maybe you can get your girls a gig at an entertainment venue! (or, maybe they can teach yoga???)

I hear you both, for me it’s Goats Gone Wild… no there won’t ever be a video, it’s way too stressful and my hands are full of Goat, not phone. Eventually something will go horribly wrong, as much like the chicken tractors are not meant to withstand cows… 150lb goats jumping up on them is also not good. Not good at all. All three went on a little tear about this morning which culminated in Jimmy doing his “not going into your trailer” standoff which I had to remedy with the squirt bottle. It was a solid half hour of chaos. I need a barn and fencing definitely need good solid fencing. View attachment 3187273

What do you use for fencing for goats..(well, I SHOULD ask 'what is the preferred fencing for containing goats", )
