You Say it's Your Hatch Day!

Guess who turns 4 today (Saturday)! She is the grand dame of Fluffy Butt Acres!

I thought we would celebrate with pictures of when she came to live with us.

The compressor and or the expansion valve in my condenser is jacked up. Monday I'll call someone to come verify and quote the repairs.

Well, as soon as I can get Rosie out of the shower we are heading to the ER again tonight. She had done wonderful, having a blast and won a 3rd and 2nd place in 2 of her classes. Then right before her final class of the evening Russ stumbled and hit his knee's and she went flying over his head. We have a bad shoulder injury, and very limited range of motion without screaming. Thankfully she wears a helmet and no head injury and Russ is ok. Will update everyone later tonight/tomorrow.

Oh my goodness oh no!

Have been there, thank God she was wearing a helmet, it really ticks me off seeing people not putting helmets on their kids. Or them not wearing them

We had a woman here who was gaming and her horse freaked out (you know horses...) She went off but her foot was stuck in the stirrup. As she was dragged her head smacked on a cement curb and killed her.

The pathologist said if she had been wearing a helmet she would have been ok, sore but ok. To this day half her team mates still don't wear helmets!!! Morons

Here it's boots, helmets , crash vets or no riding. I also invested in a pAir of quick release stirrups! Which worked one day when Tru dumped me on my hip. My foot came out thanks to the quick release. I now have terrible hip, pelvis, sacrum pains but I am alive thanks be to God!

Ok give Rosie a huge hug for me and tell her she did well ! Most people don't get any ribbons - awesome girl!!!! ,

I am still sad I missed the window to get chicks from Frey's ordered, I would have got half a dozen mixed azure and Marans - shoves them under my broodies...

Oh well guess it's for the best....

Who am I trying to kid, the chooks still have water puddles to play in. They will probably wait another hour before heading to bed.

Wonder if they expanded too fast with moisture, so sorry for that Noah (that was my grandfather's name ). Have to have nerves of steel having pets and kids!
