I can only imagine it is very hard.
To drive for 2+1/2 hours is like going from London to Birmingham for an eye appointment. Quite a maverick trip in my books.
What with train strikes and buses not turning up, it's extremely hard especially for the elderly disabled and mothers with small children.
I'm not saying it's always easy with cars they have their own set of problems but at least they can shop a lot easier and manage to actually make far away appointments most of the time

Maybe it would be easier to live in London if you can afford it . I certainly couldn't.

I used to work and live in London the tubes and buses were not so bad back then. I lived on the outskirts. The prices were not as ridiculous as they are now
