I don’t know how I will feel. I suspect I will get another black chicken. I have always had black cats since I was a little girl. Sometimes more than one at a time!
I remember them all and they were all unique characters, but somehow the spirit of the earlier ones lived on in the later generations.
Hopefully the spirit of Bella will shine through another black chicken in my future.

Wonderful! I'm glad. I personal am truly enjoying my new white chicken.

By the way, one of the things I saved for today was the fact that Glynda "legbarred" me yesterday. I opened the door to the big run to let them out into the grass and she flew right at my chest from the other side of the run. I barely had time to react and get out of the way!

I was giving up but my old friend has found away I can take the coop when I move, hopefully soon, if at all this time my home would be just by him.
He's a very clever guy, sometimes too clever. He works his butt off for me and threatened me Iltyst I must not ever try to pay him again. stubborn mule.

We have never agreed, but we get on very well even though we have more differences than holes in a flour sieve.

He's just got my hose pipe and tap fixed he's a grumpy precious
