Oh, and @BY Bob : remember to take any criticism of you with a grain of salt, remember my last line:
complain ALL I want about how terrible youngsters are these days! Remember, to older folks, Different = bad in the next generation. [case in point: Elvis and his music was a bad influence, heavy metal became the next 'bad influence', then it was 'rap'. I'm so old now that I am no longer sure what is the new 'in' music to be classified as 'bad'.]

Oh I am so glad. He is gorgeous, but he clearly thinks more of himself than the ladies do. He is going to have to work a bit to win them over.

He certainly didn't waste any time trying to 'get it on' with the girls...and they all scattered. He has to learn to Woo them first!!! Find them food, escort them, guard them while laying, etc. Patience my man, patience!!!

I use terramycin for eye injuries and have good success. It's more expensive than neosporin but worth it in my opinion.

I decided to do the hardest thing (for me) that I could do which was to just observe and leave the tiny floof alone, keeping stress to a minimum.

I planned on flushing with distilled water if it caked up again and if it had started looking worse I would have gotten Terramycin for sure.

Thankfully the chicks eye is almost completely opened back up now. No crustys at all and she/he was even shoving another chick out of the way to get to feeder!
