My cousin's wife wasn't keen about it, but it turns out my partner is also reluctant to give her a definite name. When we call her Piou-piou it's like calling her "chick" and she's so small that he still feels she may not make it . She's 11 weeks and she still hasn't grown a tail. Her behaviour continues to be totally normal though and she is not bullied by the other chickens, in fact she is much braver than Gaston the coward .

I enjoy hearing of her progress. I am rooting for her.

Just don’t give your ponies the Covid!

I told them this morning no horsey kisses ( mostly because of their goobery lips after eating haha!).

But I did have a rough night with fever, extremely achy joints, and a crushing headache…. Not sure if that is Influenza or Covid…. Both are going around here. At any rate not overly worried - got work to do and chickies to play with

I have a pony we call Pony, she has a name but she will always be Pony to us

I like Piou—piou it’s a cute baby name and she is such a teeny tiny cutie

Take care of yourself, and rest. Is the Rhinovirus going around as well? I had covid a year ago, no fever, just felt like a sinus infection from you know where. For almost 3 weeks every breath I took it felt like a hot poker was being shoved up my nose. That and extreme exhaustion. In October I caught the Rhinovirus that was going around, that about took me out. Worse then any flu I've ever had, and 3 days in I made the comment I would take covid again over that.

ya I know sinus infections are the worse!!!

This morning I am starting with the cough, this is so much like what I always do with influenza I am leaning towards Flu. My sister an BIL had Covid couple weeks ago and they had gastrointestinal symptoms. I have none of that. Just headache, body aches, joints are killing me, fever, runny nose, and now cough. Which is how flu hits me - at any rate I feel ok so far! Not tired just achy.

Certainly not going to stop me from working, doing chores? Getting my hay, playing with the chickies and ponies

Ok well better get to my office in the barn and get to work!

I need a job were I can work from home all the time, or win the lottery haha
