Dakota has the fullest crop I have ever seen. I’m hoping that she’s okay. She just keeps on eating. :barnie I’m hopeful that she will empty it by morning. I wonder what is actually in there?
And I’m worried 😟 0968CC2A-729C-4F7D-B884-5BD87EC89EB0.jpeg

So I had to make sure everyone was in and the auto chicky door closed and it did but for some reason we had a chicky stuck outside! OMG I felt so bad and it jumped on my arm; it was to dark in the coop so I had to get a flashlight, show it where the door was, put my hand in the door and point the flashlight straight up to the window where here sisters were resting. Poor thing was calling for her sisters and they were asleep. I know I can't hug and squeeze her but I sure wanted to. I felt so bad I almost teared up.:hit

Hmmm, looks like you have your work cut out for you. Gloves, pull it, and put in trash. I hate doing that, but it says even dried it is toxic, so i would be afraid to put it in my compost pile!
There is a lot of it. It is far from the house on the edge of the woods. I think I am going to leave it be.

Oh she already is!
I don’t think it is that - the leaves look different.
I used PlantNet and came up with Apocynum cannabinum (try getting that past my iPhone autocorrect!). Often called Dogbane (because it kills dogs apparently).
I have never heard of it so reading up now and in the morning will go and look again to confirm.
Given everything I have read so far is all about how toxic it is to people and dogs I will only look at it from a distance.
That is too funny, as I downloaded your pic and dropped it into the same site, and that is what it came up with for me..and it didn't seem right, but with my less than perfect eye sight, I wasn't sure which were that plant's leaves and which were the leaves of the surrounding plants...so I figured I wouldn't be able to do better...as I couldn't narrow it down....so that's why I didn't pursue it further.
