Finally it is raining! Real, soil-drenching, life-giving, mosquito-breeding rain!
So happy! Apart from the mosquito part.
Did it have to start when I am out tipping up feeders and setting mouse traps?
I will be soaked!
Lots of rain coming. Complete washout here today.

Thunder here. We've been warned several times recently but I thought it would never happen...

Princess got frightened and hid in the coop, poor little cut throat Tina was mortified on the perch in the run so I put her on the perch inside the coop. I hope she's okay. I got drenched it's absolutely hissing down
I guess it’s better than the extreme heat. We haven’t had enough rain it seems.

Hopefully it gets cooler for you now.

I certainly hope that my chickens don’t get sick being around me. They love to snuggle up to my neck (every time I’m laying down) It’s usually a beak to beak situation!
No chance, your chooks will be fine ❤️

Thank goodness. The correct Palace protocol has been restored.
Right to left: Diana, Maggie, Bernadette.
All is calm.

Bernadette tried to tip Maggie off the roost. That did not go so well.
She seems to have accepted her place at the end. At least for tonight.

Hahahaha

Good grief!

Nope we call them ears or cobs. Not sure were heads came from - autocorrect,…. Likely…..

Ears of corn or corn cobs. ❤️
I was afraid to comment. With so many countries represented here one needs to be careful.
