Why? What happened? It is a bumble bee isn't it? They can sting but rarely do. Apart from the queen, each individual only lives a few weeks I believe.

Hmmm....it looks like you fed them more than a bun. Bernadette looks like she had part of a crescent/croissant roll!

She does - but actually she showed most passion for cheese.
I froze some of the buns to dole out over time so they didn't gorge themselves. Diana in particular seems able and willing to eat a lot of carbohydrate. I mean, me too - but we all have to learn to pace ourselves!

I have noticed that my ladies are spending more time resting under cover lately. Hopefully it's just the season and less daylight hours.
