Lately I've been going to bed around 8:30 pm and getting up around 3 am. The dogs go out about 4 am. I catch up on reading posts and make sure the heat is set to keep the baby chicks warm. I started new medicine last night to help keep my heart rate down so my heart don't explode! (not a good thought)
I'll wait til hubby gets up at 6 and give dog meds and get ready to feed all the chooks. The small chicks love mash as well. They all do.

10-20 miles/hour on gravel roads. He says he's nervous about handling a "1000 pound death machine". Says he's not ready for the highway. Wants to drive the same route several times going opposite direction for turning other way practice.
I'm glad he's taking it seriously how deadly a car can be. 99% of Australian drivers seem to have forgotten that. :(

I was going to name mine that way, but they just didn’t seem to fit them very well. So I only ended up with a Crystal (Gayle) and a Dottie (West).

On another topic:

Oh Crap!
I think Coco (who is barely 6 months old) is seriously thinking about being broody. She has been getting more vocal in the nest box the past few days and staying pretty long, was a screeching pancake most of the day today, and really ruffled at me when I took eggs out from under her. She did finally leave the nest box tonight but when I did a final egg check for the day there were about a dozen fluffy feathers that might have come from her chest. 🤦🏻‍♀️

And a few Monday Mugs (some of these are a few months old)

It's time for a flock update! The Rhode Island Red you see is my old hen Hailey, and the other White leghorn is.... @BY Bob This is for you! Daisy! She's only about 6 or 7 months old, that comb is so large! My other leghorns are to ( chicken) to go near my phone. Daisy is so calm and does not mind posing for her photo.
She’s a beauty ❤️ Love those wattles and comb!
