I once brought out a single noodle for my flock of chickens (when they were chickens, my first batch) to see if anyone would like it. Lets just say after that night, everyone went rabid from that day forward.

(Yes, i am aware birds can’t get rabies)

There are some serious liars in these delivery's companies. I really had to mess my life around today too wait for a very important medical parcel. I received a text telling me I wasn't in, no card was left and I am waiting behind the door

Had a croaky visitor

And got some new moult pics

Storm's neck is filling in, and I'm seeing some new body feathers peaking through too.

Jessica's head is a mass of pin feathers. She's sticking close to either Silver or Hector.

Thing has a slew of new feathers coming too. She's acting like moving is uncomfortable so is hiding in the coop.


Silver is going for pumpkin like crazy (so is Pear), so I have another roasting now, with the raw top and bottom already out there.

They didn't take a picture and there was no card. We had just eaten our food at the time they claimed they came

How cute the little ones taking the spaghetti and mum is super protective

The first 2 videos are of Raven. She is one of my best moms. She has a 10 foot bubble that unless you are Branch you had better not step in. If she is around the other mom's chicks, her bubble expands to include them as well. If she were to be truly happy, the other girls would hand over their chicks and walk away.

One of the younger chicks got out of the fenced run when I opened the door. I didnt panick or chase her because I knew she wouldnt go far from the flock. I calmly called her back and she came. I opened the door and she went back in. This is why I don’t let my dogs go out with me. When I feed them they come right to the door to greet me and get the food.
