Well, I need love too. But all my chooks are under the porch keeping warm, because it’s raining pretty good now.
So I’m not getting any lap sitting hens for a while

Also much better for everyone's lungs! I too use wood pellets. I buy the animal ones vs stove pellets most of the time (or mix) because they have zeolite in them which helps with smell.

Put new straw in the run and got feed and seed snacks. Cleaned the nesting boxes. Hurt my lower back lifting 40lb. chicken feed its funny and hurts at the same time. Meanwhile the chooks are tearing up the run because they love to play in new straw.

I hope your back isn't too bad.
