Anyone seen “top gun” as phony as it is, the feeling of having heaven at my fingertips is real! In my aircraft we have a special relationship. I don’t test her, and she won’t kill me! I’m so excited to be headed to Texas tomorrow. (I feel the need for speed, or at least altitude!)

Vet visit?

Oh dear. Poor girl.
A respiratory infection could cause that. It could be viral. By the way lash egg can be viral too.
How is she behaving? Any other symptoms?

Sure hope she is ok - but a viral infection could cause eye and/or nasal discharge.

I don’t think I can get to a vet easily if the nearest vet could see her. I can’t drive and DH is not well, his pneumonia might be relapsing. Possibly a friend could take us. But what can be done if it is a viral cause? I haven’t had a chance to research this yet.

I can’t believe it is so bold to sit on the pole! The raptors here are very shy and if they see humans fly away.

Will do, but bit of change of plans for today, horse farrier coming now to trim horses… better get the wild mustangs in!

Do they like being called wild mustangs? Is that a horse compliment?

It is one of those days that I have to walk away from facebook a bit. There was a bus accident this morning with 20 children on the bus. As of right now no deaths but several were severely hurt and are critical. Please keep these children, their families and the bus driver in your thoughts and prayers.

Peanuts eyes - this evening there’s bubbles, three big ones on her left eye in the front corner, and another few on her right, same place. This isnt normal and can’t be good. Have too look it up, but why, on the fourth day of antibiotics, is this now happening? Something to do with the antibiotic? Or totally unrelated? Poor Peanut!
