Why is it called a well-site? And how is that different from an executive room?
It looks nice and cozy though I think I would go a bit nuts being there for six months!
They would send these self contained units to an oil well site for crews to live in when there was no camp nearby. So they just started calling them well-sites 😊

In a camp there are different room styles

Shared bathroom between two rooms isn a Jack-n-Jill.

A regular room has their own bathroom but very small no microwave or mini fridge, may not even have a small desk area.

Executive room have a bigger bathroom sometimes a tub, and has room for a recliner, desk space and office chair, and microwave and mini fridge.

I will go home for about 10 days at Christmas then back out here till the project ends.

It’s very busy 12hr days, 6 days a week, only Sunday’s off. Time goes fast….

Camp Life

Thought I would show everyone a camp, and my well-site. Most people do not get a well-site they would get just a room with either a shared bathroom or their own bathroom.

Because I am part of the construction management team I get a well-site if they have them or an executive room (large room private bathroom, and fridge and microwave) if no well-site is available. Here I have well-site. Oh and pardon my swearing - I really did lock my self out twice :he

Thanks for sharing, I felt like I was visiting!

No chickens!

How do you know that they are Japanese? Do you speak Japanese beetle? Maybe they are native to the Philippines 🇵🇭? ;)
I didn't name them. And I haven't tracked down a large population to ask. The chickens might know but until we start laying in mext year's wood supply, won't have any living ones to ask either......although might have a bit of language barrier there anyway...

Roo: ladies come, come, eat, good food, aren't I a good provider?

Ladies: yum, yum, and I'll think about it.

Bug: AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! (gulp)
