I didn't name them. And I haven't tracked down a large population to ask. The chickens might know but until we start laying in mext year's wood supply, won't have any living ones to ask either......although might have a bit of language barrier there anyway...

Roo: ladies come, come, eat, good food, aren't I a good provider?

Ladies: yum, yum, and I'll think about it.

Bug: AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! (gulp)
hahaha poor bug! but soooo yummy - if you're a chicken!

Awesome! I'll turn them loose on the edge of the forest, mystify wildlife management on where this wild herd came from so far from the park!
And wood buffalo to boot! Rare even up here :) Just think - they will think they have found a whole new herd that wasn't accounted for hahaha!

I will go home for about 10 days at Christmas then back out here till the project ends.

It’s very busy 12hr days, 6 days a week, only Sunday’s off. Time goes fast….
Oh my gosh, Kelly! I missed a lot of this before you started the treck up there. I did not realize you would be there that long!

I will be here till likely the 22nd or 23rd of Dec, I will fly home, then fly back up on the 2nd or 3rd, not sure about these dates yet as things are still in motion here.

Then once I am back up here in the New Year I will be here until end of project, which will be sometime in April - May ??

If I can hook up with a summer project I will leave Ol Blue out here parked at my friends near Calgary and just fly home. Unless it's a longer break than a month of so.

But that's a long ways off, and this project hasn't even started yet!

The construction company and crews are set to arrive on the 28th, meanwhile me and the Assist Construction Manager are getting stuff organized. I am thinking I will drive into Peace River tomorrow for supplies and print off some signage, etc. go to Walmart and pick up some groceries for me (pork chops, steak, turkey, ground meat...) I can get veggies here in Camp but not meat.

I also want to check out BBQs as I always get the project to buy one, so they guys can use for grilling up stuff. At the end of the project I raffle it off (TC Energy matchs dollar for dollar up to $10,000) for a local charity. One project we gave $19,000 to a local charity :)
