Am I the only one who knows how to raise snuggly chickens? This is how I start with!: FFC9872F-B5DC-4E18-BEF8-F2358849AE39.jpeg

I didn't manage to get drinking pictures today, so here are two from sunday and monday of Blanche who escaped the hawk.
She's a bit of a mess still from the attack and I think the stress got her molting, if that's possible.
She's a brave little thing- she didn't hesitate to go outside and under the laurel tree where the hawk got to her. On the second picture you can see some of the pecks on her eyes and ears. I'm a bit worried that she still seems in pain even though they were very superficial and have healed well, I hope there wasn't internal damage.

She's the craziest smallest of our ex-batt, and she has already made it through quite a few issues, I would be very happy if she heals up.
My partner finds it ironic that this hawk that will eat chicken's brain, got our one hen that doesn't have a brain 🤦‍♀️🙄!
