i love fluffy butt acres! and @BY Bob, it’d be great and helpful to start a new one, since with the updating, it’d be easier with less data to download form this large thread!!
Others may ask this question but I am too: What do you mean "data to download"? How are you viewing the thread?

I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas. I know, I know... I'm two days late! (Let's just call it "Hawaiian time" 😂)

Just wanted to share my favorite gift this year:

My fiancé surprised me with this framed photo of Chickadee ❤️ What a sweet & thoughtful gift.

I also found the perfect place to display her photo... on my book cart (or chicken cart 🤣)

WOW, what a beautiful picture and frame!

Those are some impressive dust bathing craters!
It is a gorgeous day here too and my ladies are out for the first time in a while.
The battery on my fence charger gave up on Christmas Eve and the replacement appears to be hitchhiking it’s way across the country. That means they can only go out when I am there to supervise.
Anyway they are running around having fun for now at least.
It's warm out, in the low 40'sF, but there is thin ice and some snow all around, except for a couple of feet right by the run door showing a little ground. Do they want to go out and take a look around? There's a bit of grass in the driveway showing, I can see it from here. No? Oh.

These Buckeye ladies, supposedly "cold-hardy" "named for the Ohio Buckeye" and bred to be "able to withstand Ohio's severe winters" won't leave the run. Shall I call it Paradise Run?

With me standing right there, the bravest is Butters, who is always in front, perching and teetering on the threshold log, trying to lean forward to see if I've brought anything, but doing her darndest to not set foot outside! I'll take a picture tomorrow.

The batteries last about two years, is that your information too? Will it not hold a charge now? Do you charge it inside? I found where I am there's not enough sunlight come fall for solar charging.
I need to tend to the old battery since I switched to the plug-in. I keep forgetting.
