I hear my rooster crowing. Its awesome. Time to go get the outside coop ready for the teens. Hubby went to get me a key lime bang......my fav energy drink. Got a London broil in the slow cooker for dinner.

Miss Z was abused in her past, so she is very cautious around people. She waits at the gate most days for her morning treat, but approaching her in the pasture is another matter completely.

Frogger will snuggle me later tonight, but her usual place in the evening is on my husband’s recliner with him. But I did snuggle for awhile with Squeak, our other cat, who lives in my home office. He is a major lap cat.

Awww, what a sweetie! Looks like he is loving all the attention. I am glad you got to have a bit of a snuggle with an animal - I think that is truly comforting (though can't take away your pain of loss, it can still be a bit of a comfort, having a warm, furry or fluffy friend cuddle with you and show you love.)

Dear Aroura, Its Bolt. I have a STUNNING beard and muffs, perhaps better than yours. There I said it. I'm so chunky, you can't do anything to me. I am middle of my peckingorder, but my broken beak is a hooked shape, causing it to hurt if I grab you with it. My human knows.
I mean, just look at my face. I grew this beard when I was just a young pullet. I scratched and dug a lot. I also take dust-baths to keep my beard fine and soft. Perhaps Muffless would like to hear that. I am not scared of you. I lay a STUNNING green color. That is better than any pink color. Ha, I said that. This is my battle face. Come at me, Queen Aroura! Hmm, maybe I should be called Queen Bolt, and you should be called EX Queen Aroura. I like the sound of that. Maybe you have a challenger. I will say, I have respected you for a long time, but think about what my flock would say if I claim the legendary Queen Aroura's title! I would never get bullied ever again. Fat Rat

I could just scream - I have tried to get these little so and so’s but they are just not having any of it. And now I look at the camera and see a huge fat rat! Grrrrrr!

I’ll take a new pair of woollen socks in that case I can’t knit at all, mum and my late grandmother do and mum quilts…. My thing is baking

All I can knit are blankets for the chickens to look like burritos and there is a blanket I'm currently working on that my mom is helping me with for a family member. Other than that, I can only knit blankets for the chickens. I may consider selling blankets for chickens when I open a business someday.
