I had a really bad fall a few years ago. The horse I was riding spooked at somthing, and took off with me on her. I had never galloped before, and I was still cantering ON the lunge line. The horse realized that she was not about to die, and stopped. Like, a full stop. No transitions to the halt, just from gallop to halt. I went flying over her head and landed on my left arm. It hurt for weeks. Only November of 2021 did I regain my confidence and not feel sick while I was getting ready to ride. The injury happened in August or early September of 2020. I hope that she recovers and is able to ride like she used to!

My daughter's accident happen this past July at a horse show. She and her best friend were riding Russ at a walk waiting for their final class of the night, "doubles". He tripped over a rock and hit his knee's. Rosie went flying over his head and tried to catch herself. Before the x-ray's were taken the ER Dr. was certain we were dealing with a dislocated shoulder. Nope shoulder was fine instead she fractured and displaced her collar bone and required surgery the following day to put in a plate.
In a span of 6 hours we went from this.

I still get shivers when I see that.
All things considered she has made a wonderful recovery.

Awe man. That sucks. I am so sorry! My injury happened when I was training for my first show. Is Rosie okay? What about Russ? Is he lame? That's a real shame. I don't know what to say. I am so very sorry! I wish that that had never happened. It seems that injuries always happen to the kindest of people. ( I'm not calling myself kind 😅 I'm the only exception 😅 Well, maybe. When I was younger I was much nicer.) It stinks that happened to Rosie.
