I don’t know a ton about chicken tending yet however I do know this for sure boring is awesome. All my minor “exciting” moments have be filled anxiety and worry and I have read many others that included tears and true fear. I think I myself will shoot for boring as all heck! Your sweet chickens are gorgeous and happily doing chickeny things and that is perfect

Something amazing happened outside. One of the Anconas, Asia, jumped on my lap and cuddled for awhile. They have been avoiding me this whole time.

Been a busy couple of weeks, finally caught back up a couple of days ago. My work took 2 days off for each holiday, but I only get paid for half a day each, so have to make up the rest. Had a visit from one of my oldest friends last week which meant 2 days of crazy cleaning (new years cleaning, it was great.) Pretty much the only time we have had real company since moving here 4 years ago. And we are still trying to fix our washing machine, I think we finally have all the parts.
