Good Progress
I made good progress on the roof today but had to run to my mom's around mid-day so could not finish. I will not be catching up on the thread this evening either. Sorry everyone.

Here is what I did get done in the roof.

To seal up the front of the roofline I am using 1/4 round plastic trim. It is the same height as the as the bend in the roof. I will be caulking the seam at the top of the roof to the 1/4 round to waterproof it. This also gives me something to square the roof with.

Nest i needed to cut the panels to length. I marked all the "humps" in one panel and then used a small piece of molding to enable me to complete the guide line across the sheet.

I then used the angle grinder to cut the panel to length.

Once cut I checked to make certain I had not screwed up before cutting the other 2.

Looks good.

As I need to cut 3 panels to the same length in order to cover the roof, I used the cut piece from the first panel to measure the other 2 to the same length.

Once I had the panels cut to length I needed to cut them to width. I placed them on the roof and marked them by marking the roofline from below. I also numbered them so i can get them back into the same place after I took them back off. View attachment 3370543

I managed to get everything cut correctly. Now I just need to wait for a day with good weather to screw it down and caulk it.

Great work Bob! It's going to be an excellent roof.

I'm surprised the roofsheet maker doesn't also provide a ridge cap that matches the profile of the sheets.

I wish to thank BYC for my PFM ! Though my laptop is a POS I can still access my BFF’s and even order things COD on it. Thanks for making me feel like a CEO or a CELB member of this community. Party at my place next weekend. Everyone RSVP. :D :frow

Here are the Math Majors carefully dividing an apple core. I think I managed to capture Eli’s gold flecks that go nicely with her green sheen.
They are very difficult to get good photos of these two. Mainly because they never stand still - they are always speeding around to avoid Bernie.

What a lovely picture of them eating together.❤️

I'm a little sad, ☹️but also really, really happy. :):) They will have the best life with you. Clearly they are already loving the Palace - what with it's lofty ceilings and all!😆

IF you are able to get a carabiner through the smaller welded wire, you should have that go straight to the eye bolt, and forget the ziptie. These carabiners would probably work well and be the easiest to 'deploy' in your situation. They come in assorted sizes. I've used a few and LOVE them.

Been a busy couple of weeks, finally caught back up a couple of days ago. My work took 2 days off for each holiday, but I only get paid for half a day each, so have to make up the rest. Had a visit from one of my oldest friends last week which meant 2 days of crazy cleaning (new years cleaning, it was great.) Pretty much the only time we have had real company since moving here 4 years ago. And we are still trying to fix our washing machine, I think we finally have all the parts. 🙄
