I think it is plenty tall enough to be a coyote - here is a fox that just ran past the same camera. He is a bit closer in so is a bit more foreshortened but even allowing for that the other critter is way bigger.

Yes that is a fox - the tail and it's stance is that of a fox.

It could have been a coyote, it moved in a more dog like fashion. Have you had any issues with any unknown predators there?

I did not plan for them. I really did not want this cross because as much as I do love Momma Hen, I would not wish her antics on my worst enemy. That said, now that they are here, they are cute.

And yet here I am almost feeling guilty that 2 months ago I had to raise my prices from 3 to 4 a dozen. Feed went up again, if it does not soon come down I will have to start charging 5 a dozen. I have no trouble selling eggs though, as soon as I list them they are gone within 24 hours.

I charge $5/dozen for mine.

No. It is roughly 3x as tall as a house cat. And has a different stance.
Also the only cats I think are mine who were fast asleep on the sofa!
