Did you post Gorda's chickie yet? I am trying to catch up again but getting side tracked by naughty people here at work parking where they shouldn't and being rude!

I meant to but called to work on short notice. I will try to get a bunch of new pics when I get home.

While the crew for the power company was at our house cutting a dead oak near our line Lety persuaded them to cut a dead one that was hanging over our propane tank.

I am not so sure this will make a difference. That said, we are coming on to spring - so if Bernie is going to lay, she will probably start within the next month to 6 weeks. (i.e. by late March)

That is the 'Way of the Chicken' They all celebrate the chance for the species to continue!

Actually, I do wonder why everyone joins in, when it is supposed to be an escort call for the hen so she can go back to the tribe????

I do like to hear it, though .

I'm sure @RoyalChick was just tickled pink to hear it today!

I know such a wonderful sound - I am sure Eli will be soon, and hopefully Bernie too

Joining the egg party with two new layers today. Brownie laid her first chocolate egg and either snicker or doodle laid a blue-green egg.

The four we got today I washed to see the colors so they are the shiny ones in the basket.

I’m in total disregard for my sanity today. I don’t care if I even care, or supposed to care. I want to find something important that needs to be done, so at least I have something important to ignore!!
