Ah! You like the high maintenance 'ponies' Friesians are beautiful, and expensive hahaha - you can get a lovely Percheron that looks just like this stallion and is way less expensive

I want a 'look there's a butterfly' quiet old plug that just keeps walking when a flock of turkeys fly up in front of him hahaha!

Instead I have an 'off the track' Thoroughbred who loves to just run; and Arabian who thinks that there are Bears behind every tree; and a fat old Pony-of-the-Americas that has serious health issues (but she is that quiet old plug that just keep walking when a tree falls down behind her haha).

Clydesdales are my favorite horse!

My neighbour has a Clyde mare - she is a nice riding horse. So different from my Arabian though!

Yes thanks she is ok - but me? not so much hahaha! I was watching and couldn't do anything about it. Marty decided that roosting in the bottom nest box was a good choice hahaha!

They don't like the heat - with all their fluff (and weight) it is hard on them.

I am going to set up the huge fan in the Hen House - and I might also just keep Truly's stall as a Summer Coop - I was going to do that on the other side of the barn with the space there. But seeing as how Sally has died, that frees up a stall. I will put Truly in Sally's stall, and enclose Truly's stall - it's 10x20 feet so nice and large, lots of good air flow for the summer. I will put the huge fan I have in there for them.

Henny Penny, Rose, and Dorothy all are stressed with the heat so they would need to be kept cool anyways.

I am getting quite excited thinking of the new kiddos, I sure hope that I don't have to go to an project right away, I would like to get them settled for a month of so before going to another project But I cannot turn down work so if worse comes to worse I will have to cut my loses with having chicks

Really really need to win that lottery !
