Beautiful! and lovely colours also :)

I have gals that like to nest on the 'ground floor' nest boxes (mostly the Silkies) to lay their eggs, I am good with it, but I don't let them roost on those nests anymore since I found out that Rats could get into my hen house...

I may go a few weeks on the ground floor and then see if I can move them up to the real boxes. Of course, rats can get anywhere.

These silly birds start every night in a pile in a corner behind the feeders. They eventually move to the roosts.

I am guessing that if A is true, it is fake.

If B is true, it is real. 😆

Can't argue with logic like that....
Sydney looks guilty to me!
Hmmmm - maybe she is thinking 'get rid of this it's not mine'....

Doesn’t the BIL option mean you could also order straight run chicks?
Nope! If need be I will get a Roo in the future to breed my own :)

Judging by Babs, it could easily be Sydney throwing it out there. Babs does not like the ceramic eggs at all. I don’t know if it is because they are ceramic or if she doesn’t like brown. But she has kicked them to the door!
That's hilarious ! And there are mine who will sit on golf balls, frozen horse doodoo, and I bet tennis balls if I let them!

Honestly I don’t know how she does it. That ceramic egg is not just tossed aside it has been moved two doors along. Can hens pick up eggs and carry them?

Tilling the soil on Sunday? Several fields were being raked today. Tractors were being used for pulling discs. All the field mice run away from their homes and head straight to my area of property!
There’s one mouse in my master bedroom right now.
It’s the season I guess! :barnie 🐁🐁🐀🐀
I caught a mouse in the Chicken Palace today. I tossed the body to the chickens and they weren’t interested Then I turned around and it was gone.
Interesting!
