I should write a book about the proper way to train a rooster! It’s not that the rooster needs training, but it’s the people who need training!I should go in there at night and catch him muhahahah.

I think it just got away from her. She is pooping just fine.Awww! that was so wonderful! Kids and animals - they should always go together
So what's up with Syd's poopy butt?
worried us there for a minuteI think it just got away from her. She is pooping just fine.
Pretty bird! I still have a 4x4 coop that we got when we first got our chickens. It was far too small for 4 grown birds, but would do for littles.Careful at the swaps, you don't want to bring home any diseases
Make sure you quarantine for at least 3 weeks; might also be a good idea to worm them (I used Revolution - Kitten/Puppy strength, which also treats for lice and mites - easy to use, just like your cat/dog it goes on their back between their wings).
And as I am sure others will comment on this:

Oh my...I hadn't thought of a trailer! You are bringing a trailer to lug home all of your 'finds', right? Including, but not limited to: Ducks, goats, chickens, chicken furniture, stuff that could become chicken furniture, stuff that is or could become a temporary holding/transporting thing for said chickens and/or ducks. Oh, things that could become cool feeders/waterers/oyster shell dispensers.....
Hmmm, I must have missed something else I could be on the look-out for....![]()

Realistically, we'll probably be too busy making our pup behave to spend much time shopping, and I think additions are at least a year away. But you never can tell.
