So, turns out I was scammed. I am normally as suspicious as they come. However, this place had over 400 followers on FB hundreds of posts and pictures. Site said all the right things. No indication they were not what they appeared to be. I am absolutely mortified. But I am sharing it anyway because I hope as spring chick fever gets us and those close to us, don't forget to be on guard.

So no Brahma pics just disappointment on multiple levels.

Are those wild turkeys? Somerville - that is the contractor doing our pipeline civil work here

I always see wild turkeys and their babies on the train track. What could they possibly be doing there?

Somerville is next to a WMA, wildlife management area so every spring it is common to see this flock in town. I stopped and rolled down the windows. I clucked a few times and had the gobblers sounding off

OH NO HOW EVIL OF THOSE PEOPLE

Please make sure that you put a call in to the police as this is a criminal issue now. AND make sure on FB you put the word out to EVERYONE.

Oh I am so very sorry (hugs hugs hugs). This is a reason to use something like paypal to pay for things, they hold money in escrow so that when both parties are satisfied they will get paid. How terribly dreadful of those deceitful evil people.

Makes me wonder what they would have said to you if you said you were driving out to pick them up! What excuse they would have.... OK well for every evil person out there, I am sure there are 100 wonderful lovely people.

When I get home they will do that at home also - we have a HUGE population of turkey, they are everywhere! I love when the mamas all get together and raise their babies together - so wonderful - I bet chicken mamas would do that in the wild also.
