Marvelous.Hello, good people of FBA!
I'm back for Friday ! Like @micstrachan we are really hoping for a lot of snow from Sunday onward to relieve our drought. January and February have been months of historical winter draught in France and we are located in one of the worse region, though we're lucky our village has a number of streams. We've been planting as usual the first stuff, garlic, onions, peas and favas... but if the water restrictions begin in March it won't be possible to grow our food like we normally do. Crazy weather everywhere make me feel so anxious.
I'm sorry for your magnolia @BY Bob. We track and note every year the dates of all our trees coming to buds / blooms and it's obvious we are going to have to plant only late bloomers, or smaller trees that can be kept as shrubs so we can protect the buds from freezing, for the same reason you mention.
I was sad to learn of your deception @knoturavggrl especially since you were really eager to get these brahmas. The fact that it also happened to @RebeccaBoyd makes me wonder if it's a common scam, and think that maybe it's worth making a post on BYC to warn others?
@Ponypoor sorry for not answering you and I hope you are feeling better today ?
@ValarieF I hope the new med works better so you don't kill anyone. In the meantime.... try to stick around with your chickens. I usually don't mind going through days and weeks without seeing anyone but my partner and my chickens and cats except when my chickens overdo it on the drama.
Pictures of the week :
Mugs : lots of rooster drama these past days.

And finally, in advance for Sunday, two very foggy pictures from this morning. You really can't almost see them at all but I've been trying to get a picture for ages and they are always too high up. My neighbors highland cows in the mountains. And in the second picture a calf and her mum broke through the electric fence and were in big conversation with See you, the arabian horse next door.
