She was a wonderful lady.Thank you, and I've found it on Premier and will look at Kencove. I could not get to any pos/neg poultry netting (only the electronet for large animals) on Premier's site when I was on my tablet, and the same on my phone. Now on the PC I find it in one second! Uneven ground and sneaking under or digging might be an issue. Have to give it more thought. Thank you!
A favorite mug, Queenie in January 2021. She got everyone doing the egg song when she started laying, and then everyone was singing whenever anybody laid. Now that she's gone, no one sings the egg song reliably anymore. It's once in a great while. The Buckeyes are hatchery born, but with her they always sang, and they continued for a while after she passed. But it's pretty sporadic now. They wail needing to get into the nest box and lay, and also somebody almost crows once in a while, which is great to hear. But very little egg song. Strange!
I think I'm going to get at least two Buff Orpingtons in Queenie's honor when I get more chickens, as @RebeccaBoyd suggested.

Yup, the second one worked for me. Not sure why the first didn't. I thought that was hilarious. He did pretty well with timing his jumps, too (and his dodges/ducks!)Well, same thing. Is there a option on the black screen that says to watch on facebook? If so that should take you to it.
Excellent. I love a clever repurpose.I totally have to brag on my genius husband. I'm generally the more handy of the two of us when it comes to ways to think outside the box, but he had a moment of inspiration yesterday.
Our pop door has been made from particle board. It doesn't get too wet, but the moisture makes it swell and stick at times. I was cursing it last night and my husband thought of the perfect replacement.
It's a $10 cutting board from Walmart. The thing is sturdy, slick, and heavier than the plywood. It also fit perfectly! I never would have thought of it.

Well last year Penelope was laying about once a week…I can’t ask a lady for her age. I’m thinking 6+
Not working, even clicking the watch on Facebook spot. Those of you who have facebook need to see this. I've laughed until I cried. Branch may want one of them toys.
Ducks and a barred rockDon't worry about it taking a bit for you to get it. Everyone's brain operates at different speeds for different subjects. no reason to feel bad nor sorry nor embarrassed if math comes a bit slower than other subjects. All you have to worry about is trying! I was always quicker with math than with languages (and, most things, you use language to learn them!). But, I found what worked for me, language wise, and plodded on, and here I am - with a Master's degree, doing fine, and happy!

The U gave me an incorrect spelling line… then when I went to check it assuming I’d typed it autocorrected without the U…I give up on these phones I swear!
I will get some Tax Photos I promise Bob! But the Evils of FB (Why haven’t I learned???) I had some weirdo Trolling me a bit on an off grid group I joined. I’m probably going to bail on that and just stick to Here and my Goat Group over there (Packgoats.com, I think I need to move to Idaho). Anyways, we were discussing medical emergencies and dealing with them in off grid/remote locations. Apparently different provinces have slightly different charges etc for ambulance services… anyway we were politely discussing Air Ambulances, and this complete **** who was trolling me on a different post because I thought his description of “I paid to put my wife through nursing school” (not quite how he phrased it, I’m being polite…) was rude and chauvinistic. He got another ghost account and then proceeded to “correct me” that the air ambulance’s don’t land to pick up patients… apparently they just deploy a basket and ropes down, like every pickup is a high angle rope rescueso there’s clearly no need for you guys to have AVgas… I don’t think you know what you’re talking about!
(the air ambulance has never done a high angle rope rescue here, our fire fighters have, and I’ve seen search and rescue do it… but never the air ambulance if there’s somewhere they can land.
Sorry Bob, more taxes to come soon as the white stuff melts and the chickens will go outside again! Promise…View attachment 3417635
