Totally understand. As Twig has matured watching Bubba and Branches behavioral shifts towards him I see now that my flock is a 2 rooster flock. Twig is also submissive and Bubba is taking advantage. Branch and Bubba coexist peacefully. I can see Twig and Branch working together well, but even If I got rid of Branch which will never happen Bubba and Twig will never work. This leaves me with 2 options, rehoming either Twig or Bubba. I love both boys, but, Bubba is my Drumstick son. Deep down, I cannot let him go for that reason alone. I'm going to be in no rush, I want a wonderful home for Twig. After I find him that perfect home as long as I have both Bubba and Branch I will force myself not to fall for anymore future boys and realize that I tried but my flock cannot be in harmony with 3 boys.
I'm so sorry. :hugs :hugs

If it was #elipoopwatch alone I would go in. But I am trying to keep Babs out late enough that she can’t see to go to the rafters and settles for the night with Bernie. I don’t know if it will work and I wish I had chosen a warmer night to try!
Terrible weather today. Don't make yourself sick.

Ok - so architect I am not... but this is what I am thinking - along the walls (not just that one wall) I would have a series of shelves staggered. @BY Bob suggested a lower height and that would be likely what I will do - but for now here is what I drew:
- Each shelf would be big enough for a chicken to roost on comfortably, any squabbling and they would be moved to the next one (lower or higher...). I could even have another level under it.

FYI - The dash-line is the 4' height of the wall.... incase you can't read my writing.

Why 4 feet high? My low roosts aren't even 2 feet high.

Why do I believe I can outwit a chicken?
I have education. I have life experience. I am practical and have had some moderate success in many things I have tried to do in life.
But none of that is enough for me to outwit a chicken.
Babs is back with Eli up in the rafters and I am curled up next to the radiator in my bathroom hoping that feeling will return to my extremities.

:th

And up she goes ….

I have said this so many times. :lau :lau

And add in a couple of pullets to go with the wee man :)
Why are all chickens "wee" to you? You better watch out or you are going to get "Gimli'ed"!

Either Coco has problems with both of her feet, or I misjudged the possibility of her bumble foot problem. There are no scabs or black spots on the bottom of her feet. And she’s still fast as ever ( I get my exercise from chasing her) View attachment 3420968
That's a great photo!
