Mr P is laying eggs?!!hahahaha - wacky hens! That's too funny! Do you think maybe going broody?
Right now I am watching 5 of the kiddos (Mr P included) nesting and laying eggs !
I have some videos I will post.
I was so excited to meet new horses that I got no picturesWonderful! I will be looking for some baby photos!
Awesome! I look forward to hopefully seeing some geegee (horse) photos!
Hmmmm - yes you are correct I will need taller boxes to accommodate those Bielefelder and Brahma ladies when they get big.
Good idea. I can put steps up to the shelf on the long wall where the door is (sort of like I have already). And put a divider along that long span - of course you do know that someone will want to roost on that divider hahaha!
Wait... did you steal Willow from me? She looks just like that!! I wonder if she is part EE and part Golden Laced Wyandotte? (GLW) Hmm. Mystery... for now, I want my pullet back! They do both have green legs, which is something I didn’t even really knew was possible until recently, and which I love, but it is possible that Babs’ are more green.
Eli saved some of the green for her feathers.
This is the kind of photo you get when you are trying to look for poop and feed treats at the same time. But at least I captured some of her beautiful feathers!
