Well I thought I was being over sick but I was in bed all day yesterday and vomited this morning. I dont know whats going on. Just very weak and tired. Fed and watered the chooks. getting close to hatching silkies. I might try to candle them today.
My silkie eggs hatched at 19 days, so might be early for you 🤗🤗🤗

Yes, I know. I just don’t understand why I keep getting it when people around me don’t.
You and me both!

Just the way we are built.

Personally now I stay way for me anyone coughing and sneezing. I had 2 wonderful years not sick and it spoiled me forever hahahahaha!!! I won't even let my cousin come here if her kids are sniffling!

Do you have someone to help with your chooks when your sick? Or do you drag your butt out to them?

Ha! The first time I got it, I had been eligible for my first booster for two weeks. We’re twins!

OK now, after complaining about chatter, I’ve been going a little crazy on the Covid. Sorry. Here’s my tax.
Awwww that's wonderful thanks for sharing! Likely the older ones were hiding under the trees and lawn chairs 😁

My silkies can't go out in rather n they get soaked to the skin.

Today something wild happend, I got baby chicks and it is so cute, she is a cross between my English araucana rooster and my favorite hen who is a olive egger.

I am ready to give up. Rosie finally got caught up from having to miss 2 weeks of school a month ago and she is sick again. Headache, ear ache, freezing and chest burning. My gut is telling me this is a sinus infection. It has been unseasonably warm and things are blooming a good 2 weeks early. I did keep her home as she was up half the night with her ear hurting. Will try to get her in with her doctor, I refuse to go back to that after hours clinic. I promise, if I hear strep or worse again I will cry.
Maybe time for her tonsils to be looked at and come out - they don't do this routinely any more but sometimes if a kid is constantly sick like this they whip them out.... Might be worth asking about.

Rosie - get better! You have horse shows to get ready for!

OK so now the BIG question!

When do your eggs start hatching - you know I am living vicariously through you at the moment till my chicks arrive 💕

Can't wait!

Now, I should give my chickens mushrooms. We're having them for dinner tonight so I'll steal a few mushrooms and give them to the chickens. I'm sure Grandma will wolf them down in less than 5 seconds. I gave her a small piece of fish once and she wolfed it down in 3 seconds.
My kiddos pretty much eat anything (except Broccoli), someone once suggested cabbage (I think it was by_bob) so I got them a cabbage - they stared at it and ran away. So I left it in the barn. When I came back a few hours later is was half eaten! They LOVE a head of cabbage (personally I think they like to think they are pecking my head hahahaha).

First thing when I arrived home, Xzit bit me!
First thing here was Buttercup jumping up and grabbing my fingers for treats! I picked her up and she tried to peck my face - what a brat hahaha!

I am glad you're home safe and sound, what's with the crazy weather?
