Love it!Quite cold today here, off on with flurries. I went out to throw the bucket heater back in their waterer and in they came to roost for the night. I don’t usually get to witness the roosting process. Peanut got pecked but that was it maybe it’s to chilly for any roosting antics but overall a fairly pretty peaceful tonight.

Hmmmm yes I see your dilemma - but what is the risk of that actually happening? Have you ever had an exploding egg?? Just curious as I hear of this as a possibility but have not heard log anyone actually dealing with that …It's actually pretty safe if one decides to brood there...until we use the rest of the wood....and it's close to the house so I can keep an eye on whomever decides to brood there. I can even slide a 2x4 into it as a ramp for babies to get out if need be. Problem if the eggs explode.
I am sure she and Sally are having a blast in horse heaven, and Sally will introduce her to my herd - just think all those lady mares, and my old Stallion (Indy), lounging amongst themSo was I![]()
