She wishes to inform everyone that as of this morning she has officially joined the working girls.

She also wishes it to be known that Branch is HER rooster. The two of them were inseparable yesterday. He showed her every nest spot and this morning she chose the nest in the coop that he kept taking her to yesterday. She also allowed him to breed her. Bubba tried yesterday evening around roosting time and instead of submitting she turned and attacked him then ran to have Branch escort her to the roost in the coop. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me and hope it continues. Branch has so few hens who actually like him. The Cochin girls love him, but they are just to big for him. He was successful yesterday with Perdita.

She has chosen wisely.

Misshapen egg today. Brown color, but looks like a shriveled up potato. Could it be a problem with one of my girls?

Probably not. Keep an eye out for another one. A random odd egg doesn't mean anything.

Alright, the surprise I have for you all is that I am celebrating Grandma's birthday today and so I'll have a thread created for this beloved chicken that you can go on and celebrate. The thread will not be made until I get photos of Grandma in her birthday suit.

Cute! How did she change her name from Pip to Grandma?

I am sick everyday. I am weak and sleep alot and in pain in my sides and stomach. The digestive dr is going to check the gallbladder and Tuesday Im getting an endoscopy to check my stomach and ulcers. I have a few different medicines one for nausea so I can eat light stuff. Ive lost a lot of weight and am dizzy and weak so I dont get out of bed much. The hubby is helping take care of the chooks and me. I get up to see the chooks as much as my body will allow it. And take care of the chicks. Just need 3 names for Hades 2 girls and boy and then 5 names for the silkies.

I sure hope they get on top of this soon.

I've been really sleepy lately and have awful tummy problems now. But I'm looking on how to beat this fingers I'll get by
