I'm so sorry this happened to Jaffar. First things first, you need to take a deep breath and do not panic. Once that is done, cool dark place for him, even if it is on you. If you have access to it, in times like this Save-a-Chick works wonders for the electrolyte boost. If you do not have it the next best thing is to take a little bit of warm water and dissolve honey or corn syrup in it and give it to him. He is older, and the sugar drink will help rebuild his energy. I would not worry about trying to get him to eat tonight if he does not want to, but offer and try to ensure he drank the sugar water every hour or two. I know you said his comb was bleeding, but, what color is his comb? As long as it is not a dark purple to black I would not be overly concerned. I would say he is just tired and may be in a mild state of shock due to his age.
:goodpost: I hope Jaffar is still okay. Sav-a-chick was what I was thinking too. Jaffar's breathing problems in the past may have made it even harder for him to fight so he will need a lot of rest. If the 6ft fence on one side is the only way that rooster gets in, maybe you could string some wiggly lines across the top even higher, as a block.

Duh....

I just buried my feed scoop for the horses under 80kg of horse feed, I dumped 3 bags of feed into the bin and when I got the last one in I realized 'where is the scoop?'...

Duh....
