She's no dummy! It is a cold, damp day - I'ld like to snuggle up to one of those tonight, too, if I was a chicken!

So, Alex, please don't be offended or think I'm crazy, but...

I was thinking that if Jaffar is sleeping with you in the house tonight, maybe putting a pillow on the floor beside the bed, so if he happens to fall again tonight, he will fall on the pillow and be okay?????

Wow! What’s that all about?! Can’t be comfortable

I found Fluffy in the bottom nestbox all cozy, tried to put Curly with her but she wasn’t having any of that! So I put Curly in another nestbox, trying to encourage them to be broody!

Looks like Curly stayed in the nestbox yay!

Misty was up on the door, I hauled her down and she is safe in the hen house.

I was thinking that if Jaffar is sleeping with you in the house tonight, maybe putting a pillow on the floor beside the bed, so if he happens to fall again tonight, he will fall on the pillow and be okay?????

No offense taken. My bed is a cal king size plenty of room for him, but dark at night. I think he was distracted by Coco late in the night. Pillows are a good idea, but I don’t have fifteen of them

No offense taken. My bed is a cal king size plenty of room for him, but dark at night. I think he was distracted by Coco late in the night. Pillows are a good idea, but I don’t have fifteen of them

Maybe make a nest for him on the floor - do you have a basket you can put some warm blankets or towels I for him to snuggle up in ?

I’d rather that he wasn’t hurt at all, but close enough to me, I can monitor his movements and behavior. I don’t care if he snores, at least he’s breathing
