Whoa Nelly! Mother Nature has truly gone off the rails! I am trying to remember what it was like as a kid and I think March was still very wintery, so I guess it’s to be expected.

Meanwhile it’s sunny and windy here, my kiddos don’t stay outside too much the wind keeps blowing them over hahahaha!

Pony Sunday
The horses are waiting for warmer weather also

What’s all that white stuff?

Jaffar was shivering all night. I know that because he was perched on my arm. I covered him up with a soft blanket and now he’s sleeping next to me. I needed my arm back. I’m still hopeful for a full recovery ❤️‍🩹
Good job keeping him warm, he needs warmth and quiet, TLC and good food ❤️

There is children's liquid ibuprofen, too. I have that now in my chicken first aid kit, once there was the posts with dosing and that it was okay. I also have aspirin (low dose) in there, too. BUT: I was afraid to use the aspirin on crop girl after the surgery.

I like the idea of acetaminophen as an option for some injuries when bleeding may be a concern. Will have to look up dosing!
For those that are wondering if acetaminophen can be safely provided to chickens, this study is fairly conclusive.

I can find nothing on dosing though. It does seem that the dose used in the study is safe but I can't tell if it would be effective or not.
