How long can an egg remain under a hen before it can’t be used for eating (if it’s fertile), I was thinking of trying to see if sitting on an egg all night might get Fluff and Marty more maternal… you know go to bed with and egg wake up with an egg…?

Marty can’t cover two of these large eggs, but she could cover Blanches jumbo egg, and Fluffy could cover the other two… any thoughts anyone?

Good to know, I shoved an egg under Fluffy and Marty each for the night, I will swap out another egg tomorrow and if they decide to go broody great! Then I can pop the proper egg under them. Both of these gals breast are bare like they have been plucking them. So I have hopes they are going broody.
