I worry about weasels climbing to get in the same way the swallows do though. Sorry, I shouldn't talk, my run is not secure against weasels yet, but my coop is good. When the snow clears I'm putting that electric fence around it all!

Yes I have been thinking that I will put electric along the outside of the door if I have to go back out west to work.

Not sure what to do with the outside run, dare I let mum let them out? I will see if I can get it covered with the mesh this week, and finish it up.

If I do have to go out west she can then let them out for a couple hrs around lunch time. Dusk and dawn are the hunting hrs around here for predators.

This week will be busy for me I want to finish the hen house ( that last bit or lining on the wall), finish the “Rooster Run” so they can go outside with out me worrying.

And, I need to finish the brooder area, I want to put chicken wire on all the open areas so nothing can crawl up into the stall/brooder and make the doors safe.

My friends daughter wants to send down one of her Roos to cover my silkies, I guess about three weeks will be needed to ensure Mr P’s semen will be out of their system. Road trip to Kentucky anyone??

Hang on! My BP is dropping to a safer level lately, breathing is still a problem here. I can do it, so you can do it!

The tree service did a fantastic job with the trees but it was wet when they were here so they rutted up the pasture a bit. Where's the spoiled brat teens looking for some honest work?
