Wendy has taken 3 doses by this morning. She was eating a little bit breakfast. She is slowly improving.

Oh that is so promising! Have you had a chance to look into that hormone therapy? If Blanche does her crazy stuff again I will put her on the Apo-Medroxy (progesterone); but I will do the pills not the injections, it will be easier for my mum to give her a treat with the pill in it - they are teeny tiny pills anyways.

Since I told Jaffar that he kinda resembled a vulture wearing his scarf, he won’t put it on anymore! (He did kinda look like a vulture though) sadly he’s got his feelings hurt

Did you tell him about how splendidly they soar in the sky and how I love watching them soaring overhead, and how when they come in for a landing even in the highest of wind they are excellent at judging their landing? They come in and tuck their wings in by their sides and sort of fall - they move their wings out a bit for lift and tucked in to descend faster - then they just so gently make a landing into the 4'x4' loft door in my neighbours barn. Awesome!

Tell him that they are the true kings of the sky!

When we lived out of town we came across a group of 4 or 5 (it was twenty years ago) eating something right in the middle of the rd. They just looked at our car coming down the hill and kind of shuffled sideways enough for us to squeeze by. They were huge! I love watching them playing in the air currents.View attachment 3456366

Shew, am I ever out of shape. 1 stall gutted and filled back up with sawdust and I can tell it has been awhile since I did them by myself. It is 77 outside so I came in for a 15 minute AC break that is now up. 1 more to go deep cleaning wise. Dirt's was deep cleaned 2 days ago, just got to get the poop and pee spot out of his.

I find the chickens to be a huge help - in wasting time that is hahaha - little time thieves!

Today I had to chase them back inside 3 times from Mount Poopmore! They can run faster than I can and they know it!

I think it was @ValarieF pointing out that you posted bunnies on a chicken forum (FBA), and when she pointed it out, you stated that you didn't care ('so what') - which is, I assume why she posted the link to the primer and, I suspect, why she was angry/hurt.

I paid the tax though. It was also for easter so that's why I did bunnies.

Refresh my memory, how many chicks do you have at the moment? This one should be Miel if you don't have a name yet s/he looks so sweet

(FYI - I know your bunnies were for Easter but not everyone celebrates Easter or knows it was for Easter that is why I posted the Cadbury Bunny .

As many in this thread know, I am not at all expert on chicken breeds. But I am fascinated by this little one’s legs and feet. They are bi-color. Very fancy!
My Bernie has some little patches of different color skin on her toes but nothing as striking as that.
