RC how high is your fenced forage area? (The one they were drinking misty water from that is visible in the bottom of this photo? It runs most of the length of the main coop, yes? and is probably about 4' wide, I'm guessing (the width of a cattle panel ? yes?) ???

Don't know I now owe a SHRA tax hahahahaha! Will have to owe a photo, as my phone is tied up playing chick sounds for Curly who has decided to sit on Fluffy's nest.

If those two went co-broody that would solve the whole shebang - they could easily cover a dozen chicks together with all that fluffiness!

It's like 09:00hrs! Get up! The day is half done almost!

My gang would have the place torn apart, not to mention the horses ha! (FYI - today I could stay in bed it is FREEZING).

Do yours do the stampede out the doorway with the Roo dancing and trying to chase them back inside? What is that all about? I am trying to chase everyone out, and Mr P herds them up and chases them back inside the Hen House! Hard enough not to step on anyone as it is! Does Jaffar do that?

Jaffar is the last one out of the coop. He’s usually herding the rest in at perch time in the evening. Sometimes he will crow, just to be sure the ladies are paying attention to him!

Chicken rustling !

Rustling usually involves fence cutting. Also, still on the books: cattle/horse rustling is a hanging offense. Sheep/goat rustling isn't. Not sure what chicken rustling would be...
