I think he is too lean for a RI Blue, no?

I don't know my breeds very well (only a hair feather better than RC) But I think he looks like a cross between a Minorca and a leghorn, physique/stance etc. wise.

Glad they checked for colitis, you should be getting proper treatment for that; to confirm they should really do a sigmoidoscopy (think colonoscopy) to follow up.

Raisins and craisins are my flocks drug of choice. They do not like meal worms, give them the dried fruit. Momma Hen will even loose her mind over them.
