The huge oval egg in the middle is Gaby's egg. It had two yolks. Very tasty.

Gaby lays super dark eggs-the darkest ones we have. There are five in the photo.
Speedy is a good name for a chicken. Gaby puts on a lot of speed as well.

Almost forgot, the friend with the chicks that I have mentioned before (the one with the “problem son”) called yesterday. He was worried about one of his hens and wondered if I knew what was wrong. She keeps sitting on the nest all day. If he takes her off she will go eat then runs right back. Has been growling and even attacked the dog.

I almost died laughing. Told him it was time to set up a broody breaker.

I don't have a broody. But Agathae might be about to. She has not laid for some time and seems to be interested in the fake eggs in the nesting boxes.

Unbelievable, my provider was due a payment of 36 and as i went to pay they asked for 200 . This is just for a phone as the broadband failed, they still charged for early end of contract now they want more.
