Gaby lays super dark eggs-the darkest ones we have. There are five in the photo.View attachment 3464333
The huge oval egg in the middle is Gaby's egg. It had two yolks. Very tasty.
Everyone but me has broody hens.Almost forgot, the friend with the chicks that I have mentioned before (the one with the “problem son”) called yesterday. He was worried about one of his hens and wondered if I knew what was wrong. She keeps sitting on the nest all day. If he takes her off she will go eat then runs right back. Has been growling and even attacked the dog.
I almost died laughing. Told him it was time to set up a broody breaker.![]()
I don't have a broody. But Agathae might be about to. She has not laid for some time and seems to be interested in the fake eggs in the nesting boxes.Everyone but me has broody hens.
