Yep it's growing nicely from my ceiling and black mold coming down my wall.

I won't feed my girls that muck. If these landlords leave the problem I may try growing shittacke
Ever give thought to involving the media? Over here they love to get their claws into bad land lords.

What is this? A dog or chickens?!!

You're Mama. They want to be with Mama
No, it's true! Especially if you are there when they hatch, they will "imprint" on you. They do that with the first living thing they see that is not a chick. Whether it be a dog, a cat, or even probably a mouse! That's why they follow their mama hen around because she is mama.
I even had that experience when I was just starting my chickens. I got 8 pullets and I called one Lhicken. That's how we're such good friends. I bonded with her from when she saw me.

Well, Curly is still in her nest box, Fluffy has joined her. Not sure if she laid an egg, I have 2 unmarked eggs under there.

If by tomorrow she is still sitting I will see if she accepts the next chicks to arrive. I think she can fit 6 under all that fluff.

It’s really too bad those two won’t co-brood, imagine how many I could fit under all that fluffiness!

Oh yep they come running! But I am trying not to tire them out too much, and it’s a bot chilly this morning, later on I might bring them outside for some warm sunshine, going to be around 27c (close to 80F).

Fluffy has left the nestbox, Curly has stayed put.

It’s like a telenovela 😊 - will she? Won’t she?
How long will she? Will she hate me?

Stay tuned for ‘These are the Days of their Lives’
