As you will already know... fluids, and lot's of it. To flush whatever this is away.Wow! I have bookmarked all the IR posts and articles and will look at them all in a day or so.
I came back from my trip and became really sick - temperature of 103F (or 39.4C, which sounds so much less scary!).
I am tentatively going to try sipping some soup and then going back to bed.
The feline nurses have been working round the clock - by which I mean they take turns on which one will sleep on my head, my shoulders and my knees. With support like that I am bound to feel better soon!

How are those night visuals going?Good morning everyone. Chick watch is officially underway as of this morning as we are on day 19. I listened to the eggs and no internal pips just yet. Goose is off and judging by the way she is furiously eating and dust bathing, I do not expect her off again until they hatch. I've also had Rosie's best friend over for the last 2 days. She is discussing her chickens and how good of a daddy the Blueberry brother she took 2 years ago is. I've saw pictures of Pepper, he is a Drumstick x Henrietta son and even though he is a mix he looks just like a Blue Copper Marans rooster would. Well, Mallory is plotting, and plotting in ways that could get me choked by her daddy but I love the way her brain works. Every time she visits she comes home with a dozen or two eggs as their hens have not picked up laying all that well. She wants to bring home some to give to a broody hen when she has one to hatch. Her dad has several game hens, there is always a broody around in the spring and summer. She wants some silkie eggs and a couple of my other girls eggs. I told her I would think about it. When her dad picked her up this morning I informed him of her plans and he laughed and said if she wanted to she could. He also said he had a hen that he thought would be broody soon. I guess I will be dating chiquita's eggs now and saving them up and when the time is right he is bringing her up to visit so she can bring home some "eating" eggs.
